Adoration and Thanksgiving prepare us for Confession and Supplication. Confession is acknowledging our sin. It is "saying with" God what God says about us. Supplication is what we do most of the time with God: asking. God promises to give us good gifts, but often our own actions limit what God will do. If we are praying selfishly, if we have unconfessed sin in our lives, if we have put other things ahead of God, He will not answer our prayers. September 20, 2026
